Our story

JadePDF started with a simple observation: every PDF tool on the internet uploads your files to a server, processes them there, and promises to delete them "eventually." For lawyers handling confidential contracts, accountants with sensitive tax documents, or anyone who simply values their privacy, that's not good enough.

We asked: what if PDF tools could run entirely in the browser? No upload, no server, no trust required. Just your file, your browser, and the output.

That's JadePDF. 80% of our tools are 100% browser-based. You can verify this yourself by opening DevTools → Network tab. For the 20% that genuinely require server processing (like Word→PDF conversion), we're honest about it — and we delete your files in 60 seconds, not 2 hours.

What we're honest about

Most PDF tools hide which operations require a server. We don't. Every tool on JadePDF is clearly marked:
