For 80% of our tools, yes — completely. Your PDF never leaves your browser. You can verify this yourself by opening Chrome DevTools → Network tab and watching for zero network requests during processing. For the 20% that require server processing, we delete files after 60 seconds, use TLS 1.3 encryption, and never log contents.
Why does JadePDF say "80% browser-only"? What about the other 20%? +
Some operations like Word→PDF or high-quality OCR require software that doesn't run in browsers yet. We clearly mark these with a ☁️ badge, explain why they need a server, and guarantee 60-second deletion + no logging. Compare: iLovePDF deletes after 2 hours, Smallpdf after 1 hour.

What's the file size limit? +
Browser-only tools can handle files up to ~200MB depending on your device's memory. For very large files, we recommend splitting them first. Server tools accept up to 50MB.
